Meet Diego! This stunning 43-pound, 1-year-old dog is looking for his forever home. Diego is an energetic, affectionate pup. He is smart, playful, and an athletic boy who loves to run, play fetch, and tackle obstacles—he’d be an amazing agility dog! When he’s not zooming around, he’s a total velcro dog who just wants to snuggle with you (or his doggy friends!). Diego adores other dogs and would love a playful sibling, but he cannot live with small animals (cats, rabbits, etc.) due to his prey drive. He’s still building confidence around strangers and new situations, but with patience, treats, and love, he’s making amazing progress. Diego would benefit from being in a home with no children or older, considerate children only as he can become skittish with fast movements and loud noises.  Diego is potty trained, crate trained, and great on a leash (though he gets excited to meet other dogs!).
